A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR

Chamber members,

There’s lots of exciting news to share. We packed April with Ribbon Cuttings and a Leadership Luncheon with Lester Bagley, Executive VP of Public Affairs for the Vikings, sharing his Vikings insights. Besides providing useful local information, these luncheons are fertile ground for meeting new people and building relationships. We, naturally, encourage you to attend. Our fifth and final Leadership Luncheon: AI “Friend or Foe” and What You Need To Know is Thursday, May 16. Click here to learn more and register today.

As mentioned in the April 511, the Board of Directors approved the Five-Year Strategic Plan. Chamber staff have been focusing on immediate strategic goals and addressing Member programming, communications, branding, partnerships, technology, and productivity/sustainability. Click here to view our 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.

May will be another busy month with exciting ribbon cuttings and networking opportunities, please join us!

Upcoming Ribbon Cuttings & Networking Events:

The Chamber’s longest-running event is just around the corner! The 65th Annual Roger Miller Golf Classic is Monday, June 10 at Burl Oaks Golf Club. Enjoy a June day outside, connecting with other members and member businesses. Sponsorships are also available!

Lastly, mark your calendar and don’t miss Wayzata’s premier summer festival – The 20th Annual Wayzata Art Experience on June 22 & 23. This is a 2-day lakeside celebration and we can’t wait to see all the incredible artists that join us on Lake Street. Last year, over 20,000 people enjoyed 150 fine art artists, food trucks, and more. You can learn about great sponsorship opportunities by contacting Brooke Beyer at bbeyer@wayzatachamber.com. Volunteer opportunities are also available! Click here to see how you can get involved.

One nominator wrote, “I had a variety of infestation issues at my home. Abra came to my home, walked around my house then sat down and talked to me about the various options to find a solution.
